1 RepliesSo, I am the US citizen and my girlfriend is the foreigner. She is from the Philippines but is currently residing and working in Saudi Arabia. I just got back from visiting her for the first time in Saudi Arabia and now we are planning on me visiting her and her family in the Philippines early next year.
After that, we will be working on her coming here. She has already tried to visit here, but her b2 visa was denied. We were not given a reason. She pretty much waited in line at the US embassy in SA and when she got to the front the visa officer denied her right away. We believe it was due to her applying in a country other than her home country. She had also at the time only been in SA for 6 months.
Should we try for a b2 visa, again? Or go straight to k-1? We are both also concerned about the part of the k-1 where we have to agree to marry while she is here. Obviously this is the end goal, but, we have only met each other in person once for a week at this point.
I'm new to all of this and any advice or tips would help a lot. Forms and applications are confusing and mixing it with relationships makes things even more complicated.
Thank you!

1 RepliesI petitioned a GC for my adult daughter around 3 years ago but I have since become a US citizen September of last year. Do you think I should start another new petition for her now that I ve been naturalized or do I go on with the current one?
Can you put N/A in signature boxes that don’t apply to you or should you leave them blank? 11:07 am today

2 RepliesHello there,
my fianc and I recently submitted our form I-129f on April 5th however our form got rejected due to a problem with the preparers signature page. As we had filled out this form ourselves with no outside help, we put N/A in the signature boxes that didn t apply to us. Was this the right thing to do? They also left a very orange Missing page sheet in front of the signature boxes page at the end of the form as we have no missing pages I am assuming they had a problem with us putting N/A in the signature boxes that didn t apply to us. Can anyone please confirm?
the only other thing we can think of is we used a parents check, would they have seen this and assumed a parent or legal guardian filled out the form rather than ourselves?
many thanks for taking the time to read this post,
I look forward to working this out,

3 RepliesIf a minor (under 10) was tried to be brought into the U.S. illegally by an adult, then caught and turned around, will he, now as an adult, be ineligible to apply legally for a visa? Or will that prior incident be held against the person in consideration of Visa grant?
Thanks!

1 RepliesMy fianc first filled out his DS 160 form, paid for and scheduled his interview with that confirmation number. However he made a mistake, misunderstood a couple questions and answered incorrectly, resubmitted the form with the correct info, and then added that confirmation number to his interview profile thing. It s now grayed out, and we know that he has only one opportunity to make changes.
Question 1: Does this mean that the new confirmation number is now attached to the interview appointment?
Question(s) 2: We know he s expected to bring both confirmation pages, but for those who ve resubmitted the DS 160, does anyone check the original confirmation DS 160? When he arrives at reception, should he present the original at all, or just the updated one?
Question 3: Will the interviewer ask about resubmitting the DS 160?
